Quri

A MiniDisc app for the Mac. Named for the Curie point — the temperature a disc’s magneto-optical layer is heated past so that a weak magnetic field can flip it, which is how a MiniDisc gets written at all.

Audio encoding uses atracdenc (LGPL-2.1), shipped as a separate program rather than linked in.

MiniDisc, Hi-MD, NetMD, ATRAC and SonicStage are trademarks of Sony Group Corporation. Quri is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Sony.
